Girl Online//series review❤️📚

“They are probably just staring at you because your so bloody gorgeous!”- Zoe Sugg

Hi guys! So I recently asked on Instagram if you guys would like to see a Girl Online review from me and you guys wanted to see it, so here it is! Along with the comments, I had a question asking whether Girl Online was worth the read. I’d be lying if I said that they’re ok books because they’re not. They are simply amazing!! (and gorgeous, too!)

I finished the last book (Girl Online: Going Solo) a couple of weeks ago and that one is by far my favourite – my second being the second book of the three. So today I am going to review them and give my opinion on them and what they are about (without any spoilers, promise❤️). These are purely just my opinions and I’d love for you to comment yours. Enough for an intro, let’s get on with it!

#1 – Girl Online

Girl Online is a novel about a young girl named Penny. She goes to New York with her family for Christmas and meets a boy called Noah, a mysterious musician. But under the icy sun a secret is being kept, a secret that could ruin Penny’s cover as an anonymous blogger called Girl Online.

This book is a great read. It is the first book by Zoe Sugg who is a popular Youtube sensation known as Zoella (for those of you who don’t know who she is). Even though Zoe had a bit of help writing this book, it doesn’t change the fact that it can connect with her tween viewers/readers and her ideas of characters and story-line are just right for her followers. It doesn’t make any difference to how much I enjoyed reading it. It only took me a week to read it; I couldn’t put it down because it was that good!

#2 – Girl Online: On Tour

Another amazing tween book by Zoe I can relate to, the second in the series, was released in October of 2015. Penny goes on tour with her rock-god-tastic boyfriend Noah Flynn and surprise, surprise… going on tour isn’t as bewildering as it sounds. She continues to keep it all real on her blog but when she finds out a few hidden secrets, things go downhill. I’m not going to spoil but you need to read this!

#3 – Girl Online: Going Solo

Released in November last year, this is one of the best tween books ever! Penny starts the school year and she’s ready to face the world – alone. Noah has gone off the radar after ending his world tour early and no one, including Penny, knows where he is. So when she accepts Megan’s invitation to visit her performing arts school it seems like an opportunity to make some new friends. Elliot needs her friendship more than ever, and she meets Posey – a girl struggling with stage fright and in need of support. But is charming Scottish boy Callum the right kind of distraction? And can Penny truly move on when Noah’s shadow seems to haunt her round every corner? I was so surprised near the end because of Noah – if you have read this book you will probably know why. I really want to burst and spill everything, but I promised no spoilers because some people haven’t read it yet.

I hope you enjoyed my Girl Online review and I also really hope I have inspired you to read the series if you haven’t! My favorite book out of them has got to be Going Solo because I love how Penny has become more confident with herself now that she has to face the world without Noah and how she helps someone overcome their fear, relating to her frequent panic attacks for a bit of help. What I also love about it is the fact that she uses her hobby to make something very ‘uniquely Penny’. I am not going to say more about that 😀

So, thank you for reading and as always, please like and comment and I will be replying. Follow me for more of, well, me!

Loads of hugs,
